Welsh Hill\u2019s Vetinarian practise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, hello. Do you look after all animals?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh yes, all creatures great and small, we do them all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcellent. Can I get an appointment, please?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat seems to be the problem?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gone off his food.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan you come over at 3?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGreat,\u201d said Susan. \u201cDo you have a helipad there?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Helipad, or a flat roof?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAh.. yes, we have a flat roof,\u201d said the receptionist. \u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOkay we\u2019ll drop in about 3pm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Susan guiding her pet down onto the flat roof and then climbed down to the front entrance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello. I\u2019m Susan. I have an appointment for my pet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh yes,\u201d said the receptionist. \u201cWhat\u2019s his name please?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNogard\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd what is he?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA dragon of course, although he\u2019s a little backward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd where is this dragon,\u201d said the receptionist, trying to humour her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s waiting outside a bit big for your doors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The receptionist looked out to see that indeed there was a dragon waiting patiently, out in the car park, taking up a large disabled bay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh yyyyyes,\u201d she stuttered. \u201cI\u2019ll get the vet to come out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The vet appeared form his room stethoscope around his neck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello, Dr Little,\u201d said the vet, holding out his hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSusan, Nice to meet you Dr Little.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCall me Doo please,\u201d said the vet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoo?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShort for Donald, or maybe because I\u2019m always up to my eyeballs in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh Right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, where\u2019s this \u2018dragon\u2019 then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNogard\u2019s outside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs he trained. I don\u2019t want him biting my head off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh yes,\u201d said Susan. \u201cThat\u2019s his favourite film, always watching it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Because of copywrite in fringements, you&#8217;ll have to buy the book once published to read more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Vet\u2019s Nightmare \u201cHello.
